New low-cost service to Krakow
From 19 September, passengers at Copenhagen Airport will have the opportunity to fly non-stop to southern Poland when low-cost airline Sterling launches its new service to Krakow.
Krakow is the third largest city in Poland and well known for its historic city centre which has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Last year, 6.5 million tourists visited Krakow.
“Sterling’s new service to Krakow will be the first low-cost service to Poland out of Copenhagen. Krakow is increasingly a holiday destination for Scandinavian passengers and, over the past couple of years, the city has been high on our list of new destinations we would like to offer out of Copenhagen,” said Ole Wieth Christensen, Route Development Manager at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
Sterling will have three weekly frequencies to Krakow: On Tuesdays and Thursdays, flights depart from Copenhagen at 9.55 am with return flights out of Krakow at 12.05 noon; on Sundays, flights depart from Copenhagen at 8.10 am with return flights out of Krakow at 11.55 am.
