New low-cost service to Prague

Low-cost carrier SkyEurope is to add Prague as its third service out of Copenhagen Airport with five weekly flights from 25 March 2007.

Low-cost carrier SkyEurope will expand its route network with another service out of Copenhagen Airport. The new destination is Prague, with five weekly departures – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday – from 25 March 2007.

11% more passengers to Prague

The Czech capital is a very popular destination with Danish and Swedish city tourists, and several airlines service Prague. The number of passengers travelling between Copenhagen and Prague has grown by 11% this year.

Largest Central European low-cost carrier

SkyEurope set up operation in Copenhagen in April 2005 with services to Budapest and Bratislava. Based in Slovakia, the five-year-old airline is the largest low-cost carrier in Central Europe. In addition to Bratislava, the airline has services from Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw and Prague to 37 European destinations.
