New service to Berlin
The good connections between Copenhagen Airport and Berlin, the capital of Germany, will become even better from this autumn, when Sterling starts services to Berlin’s Tempelhof Airport on 30 October 2005.
With the new route, there will be flights out of Copenhagen to all three airports of Berlin, as SAS already flies to Tegel Airport and easyJet flies to Schönefeld Airport. Tempelhof Airport is only six kilometres from the city centre of Berlin.
In addition to transferring its services to Tempelhof, Sterling (which currently flies to Tegel) is going to increase its frequencies to Berlin from one to two on weekdays and a single weekend flight on Sunday evenings.
Departure times on Mondays to Fridays out of Copenhagen for Berlin/Tempelhof are 6.50 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. Return flights out of Berlin will leave at 8.15 a.m. and 6.25 p.m. The Sunday evening flight will leave Copenhagen at 7.20 p.m. and Berlin at 8.45 p.m. The flying time is approximately 50 minutes.
