New direct service to Syria

A direct service will again be offered from Copenhagen to Syria from 8 December when SyrianAir opens a new route to Damascus. The flights will go via Aleppo in northern Syria.

“There is a growing demand for direct flights from Scandinavia to the Middle East. Damascus has long been on our wish list of destinations to be served out of Copenhagen Airport. Today, many passengers fly to Syria via a number of stops in Europe. In future, there will be a direct service to Syria,” comments Ole Wieth Christensen, who is responsible for route development to the Middle East and Africa at Copenhagen Airports A/S.

SyrianAir’s flights will leave for Damascus every Wednesday and Saturday at 1.00 pm using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Tickets on SyrianAir can be booked through major Danish travel agencies.
