Cimber Air to offer services to Kiev and Bucharest
Companies with business in the Ukraine and Romania will now be able to use direct services from Copenhagen Airport to Kiev and Bucharest. Cimber Air’s new service will save passengers almost two hours’ travel time compared to changing flights, for instance in Warsaw, Poland. The travel time between Copenhagen and Kiev will be 2 hours and 25 minutes. Between Copenhagen and Bucharest, the travel time will be 2 hours and 40 minutes.

“We are pleased to learn that Cimber Air will be opening services to Bucharest and Kiev. These new services to eastern Europe will strengthen our position as the key traffic hub of Scandinavia,” says Trille Tang Dalsgaard, head of Airline Relations at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
Cimber Air will be starting its first service to Kiev using Canadair planes on Wednesday, 14 April. There will be departures from Copenhagen to Kiev every day except for Saturdays. The first flight for Bucharest will take off on Sunday, 18 April. From then on, there will be departures from Copenhagen to Bucharest every day except for Saturdays.
Cimber Air offers both business class and economy class on the flights, which will have capacity for 50 passengers.
