New CPH organisation to secure one cohesive business platform

A new organisational change within sales and marketing will make CPH an even more customer-focused business. Two new departments will be established – Sales and Market & Services. The intention is to make CPH the preferred choice for all customers.

“We have sat the objectives for the next three years very high. We want to be the preferred airport for both passengers and airlines, and we need a robust and efficient operation. With this new organisation we are taking another step in the right direction of becoming a more customer-focused business where the focal point is the current and future needs of the passengers and partners. We need to think more as a service business, to put us in the place of the passengers and to make sure the operations work,” says CEO Brian Petersen.

The purpose of the new organisation is to create one coherent business which is focused on the needs of the customers and hence, can result in the ideal interaction between product development, sales and operations in CPH.

New products to different customers
For the new market organisation one of the purposes will be to develop new products to the customers within two different segments – Premium and Low Cost. Premium will refine what network carriers such as SAS are offering while Low Cost will secure an ongoing growth within the low cost traffic - among others by developing the Swift terminal.

The new organisation
Onwards the responsibility for all sales activities as well as the direct contact to airline customers, travel agencies, tenants, leaseholders, companies, authorities and others lies in the sales department under the guidance of VP Carsten Nørland.

The responsibility for strategic development and marketing within all of CPH’s business areas as well as the direct communication to passengers will be placed in the Market & Services department under the guidance of VP Janne Moltke-Leth.
