Tuesday the 27th of February was the 3rd time CPH and Airline Relations hosted the annual Interline Workshop. This year airlines representing most of Europe, Middle East and Asia participated and more than 60 planned meetings were conducted successfully.
The Interline Workshop is an opportunity for all participating airlines to explore the potential for interline coorporation with other airlines. The Scandinavian market is caractarized by many small feeder markets and feed from those markets will supplement traffic potential in the large catchment area of CPH consisting og 6.2 million inhabitants.
All network carriers flying to/from CPH are invited to participate in the workshop which main focus is for airlines to meet, negotiate with, and create new relations to other airlines. The perfect opportunity to meet and greet with airlines who could be your next business opportunity - and all in one intense day!

41% increase in LCC traffic - 2006
Aside from being Scandinavia’s Hub, CPH has an increasing strong profile within the low cost sector. During 2006 the low cost traffic rose to 2.8 million passengers and thereby increasing the LCC traffic share with not less than 41% compared to the LCC traffic share in 2005. With this increase the low cost traffic constitutes 13.3% of the total traffic today.
The largest LCC carrier in Copenhagen Airport is Sterling followed by easyJet and Norwegian but this might change since Air Berlin manages to keep increasing its CPH market share.
