In August 2006, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 4.1%

In August 2006, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 75,948 passengers (+4.1%) compared with August 2005.

Breakdown of departing passengers

The number of locally departing passengers increased by 48,707 passengers (+7.9%). The number of transfer/transit passengers decreased by 16,252 passengers (-5.6%).

International passengers

The number of scheduled international passengers increased by 46,979 passengers (+3.0%), while the number of international charter passengers increased by 12,416 (+7.2%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 59,566 passengers (+3.5%).

Domestic passengers

The total number of domestic passengers increased by 16,382 passengers (+11.6%) compared with August 2005.

Operations and take-off weight

In August 2006, the total number of take-offs and landings decreased by 261 operations (-1.1%), while the tonnage increased by 3,002 tonnes (0.4%) compared with August 2005.
