In May 2005, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 40,102 passengers (+2.4%) compared with May 2004.
Breakdown of departing passengers
The number of locally departing passengers increased by 66,186 passengers (+13.0%). The number of transfer/transit passengers decreased by 46,537 passengers (-14.0%).
International passengers
The number of scheduled international passengers increased by 27,726 passengers (+1.9%), whereas the number of international charter passengers increased by 13,343 (+13.6%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 41,052 passengers (+2.7%).
Domestic passengers
The total number of domestic passengers decreased by 950 passengers (-0.7%) compared with May 2004.
Operations and take-off weight
In May 2005, the total number of take-offs and landings increased by 302 operations (+1.3%), and the tonnage increased by 14,542 tonnes (+2.1%) compared with May 2004.
