In March 2005, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 1.9%
In March 2005, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport increased by 29,696 passengers (+1.9%) compared with March 2004. The traffic increased despite the fact that Easter, where there is relatively little traffic, fell in March this year.
Breakdown of departing passengers
The number of locally departing passengers increased by 56,856 passengers (+12.6%). The number of transfer/transit passengers decreased by 41,761 passengers (-12.9%).
International passengers
The number of scheduled international passengers increased by 27,613 passengers (+2.1%), whereas the number of international charter passengers increased by 17,259 (+21.4%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 45,859 passengers (+3.3%).
Domestic passengers
The total number of domestic passengers decreased by 16,163 (-11.3%) compared with March 2004.
Operations and take-off weight
In March 2005, the total number of take-offs and landings decreased by 1,167 operations (-5.0%), and the tonnage decreased by 4,221 tonnes (-0.6%) compared with March 2004.
