In February 2005, the total number of passengers increased by 3.8% compared with the corresponding 28 days in February 2005

The fact that February 2004 had one more day than February 2005 affects the traffic statistics for February this year compared with the statistics for February last year. Adjusted for this effect, the development in the total traffic for February corresponds to a passenger increase of 3.8%.

The total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport for the first 28 days of February 2005 is 1,306,656 compared with 1,302,555 passengers for the 29 days in February 2004. This corresponds to an increase of 0.3%.

International passengers

The number of scheduled international passengers decreased by 4,621 (-0.4%), while the number of international charter passengers increased by 13,988 (+18.3%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 9,545 (+0.8%). 

Adjusted for one extra day in February 2004, the traffic development is as follows:

The number of scheduled international passengers would have increased by 34,748 passengers (+3.3%), while the number of international charter passengers would have increased by 16,131 (+21.7%). Consequently, the total number of international passengers would have increased by 51,462 (+4.5%).  

Domestic passengers

The total number of domestic passengers shows a decrease of 5,844 (-4.9%) compared with the same month in 2004.

Adjusted for one extra day in February 2004, the traffic development is as follows:

The total number of domestic passengers would have decreased by 3,251 passengers (-2.8%) compared with the same month in 2004.

Movements and maximum take-off weight

In February 2005, the total number of take-offs and landings decreased by 551 operations (-2.6%), while the tonnage decreased by 352 tonnes (-0.1%) compared with the same period 2004.

Adjusted for one extra day in February 2004, the traffic development is as follows:

In February 2005, the total number of take-offs and landings would have increased by 34 operations (+0.2%), while the tonnage would have increased by 17,920 tonnes (+3.1%) compared with the same period 2004.
