The total number of passengers increased by 9.2% in February
In February, the total number of passengers in Copenhagen Airport shows an increase of 9.2% compared with the same period 2003.
The fact that the month of February 2004 included one more day affects the traffic statistics for February compared with the statistics for February last year. Adjusted for this effect, the increase in the total number of passengers in February 2004 corresponds to an increase of approximately 5%.
International passengers
The number of international scheduled passengers increased by 10.5% whereas the number of international charter passengers increased by 2.2%. Consequently, the total number of international passengers increased by 9.9%.
Domestic passengers
The total number of domestic passengers shows a decrease of 2.4% compared with the same period in 2003.
Movements and maximum take-off weight
In February 2004, the total number of take-offs and landings increased by 8.6%, whereas the tonnage shows an increase of 7.5% compared with the same period last year.
