In February 2003, the continued declining Swedish urge to travel causes a traffic decrease at Copenhagen Airport
In the month of February 2003, the total number of passengers shows a decrease of 3.1% compared to the same month in 2002.
The reason for the traffic decrease in February 2003 is the continuing decrease in the Swedish traffic. However, the Danish urge to travel still shows an increase. The number of local departing passengers has increased by 4.9% compared to the month of February 2002.
The number of international passengers has decreased by 2.3%, and the number of international scheduled passengers has decreased by 2.6%, while the number of international charter passengers shows an increase of 3.1%. The number of domestic passengers shows a decrease of 9.9% compared to 2002.
In February 2003, the total number of takeoffs and landings has decreased by 3.4%, while the maximum tonnage shows a decrease of 2.5%.
