In the first nine months of 2001 the accumulated growth in the number of passengers was 2.2% compared to the same period last year.
In September 2001 the number of international passengers has decreased by 0.1%. The number of international scheduled passengers increased by 0.7% despite the terror actions in USA on September 11, 2001, while the number of international charter passengers decreased by 7.2%.
Once again in the month of September 2001 the number of domestic passengers decreased. The decrease was 5.5% compared to September 2000. The accumulated figure of the first nine months of 2001 shows a decrease of 5.7% compared to the same period last year.
In September 2001 the total number of takeoffs and landings has decreased by 3.7%, while the tonnage shows an increase by 2.8%.
