In May 2001 the number of international scheduled passengers increased by 1.2%
In the month of May 2001 Copenhagen Airports had a decrease of 2.8% passengers through our airport compared to May 2000. In the first five months of 2001 the accumulated growth in the number of passengers was 2.2% compared to the same period last year.
In May 2001 the international passengers has decreased by 1.6%. The number of international scheduled passengers increased by 1.2%, while the number of international charter passengers decreased by 27.1% compared to May 2000. This decrease is due to the fact that the UEFA Cup final in soccer was played in Copenhagen in May 2000. The accumulated growth in the international traffic is 3.5% in the first five months of 2001.
Once again in the month of May 2001 the number of domestic passengers decreased. The decrease was 12.3% compared to May 2001. It shall be taken into consideration that May 2001 includes more holidays compared to May 2000. The accumulated figure of the first five months of 2001 shows a decrease of 6.9% compared to the same period last year. |
