In August 2001 the number of international scheduled passengers increased by 7.6%
In the month of August 2001 Copenhagen Airports had an increase of 5.1% passengers through our airport compared to August 2000. In the first eight months of 2001 the accumulated growth in the number of passengers was 2.7% compared to the same period last year.
In August 2001 the international passengers has increased by 6.0%. The number of international scheduled passengers increased by 7.6%, while the number of international charter passengers decreased by 7.1%. It should be taken into consideration that a record high number of cruise passengers have changed between plane and ship in Copenhagen during the month of August 2001.
Once again in the month of August 2001 the number of domestic passengers decreased. The decrease was 2.0% compared to August 2000. The accumulated figure of the first eight months of 2001 shows a decrease of 5.7% compared to the same period last year.
The total number of takeoffs and landings has decreased by 2.0%, while the tonnage shows an increase by 3.8%. |
