Carsten Nørland
Vice President, Sales & Market - born 1969


Carsten Nørland has an educational background from Copenhagen business school (Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration) as well as MBA in Marketing from Rutgers School of Business State University of New Jersey, USA.
Before entering the aviation industry, Carsten worked 1997-2004 Masterfoods, with both national and international business development responsiblities. Starting as a national account manager, Carsten moved to be Scandinavian Sales Director in the period 2003-2004.
Leaving the FMCG industry, Carsten filled the position as Scandinavian Sales Director in  Flügger Group, selling B2B paint and other surface treatment products. Here he had the responsibility for the DAY-system company and 50 employees generating a business of DKK 250 million.
At CPH Carsten has assumed the responsibility of the Sales department, which includes route development .

Christian Poulsen
Assets & Technical Director – born 1966

Christian Poulsen holds a BSc in Engineering (Electronics/IT line) from the Academy of Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (1988). Moreover, Christian Poulsen holds a BCom in International Trade from the Copenhagen Business School (1992) and an Executive MBA from the Copenhagen Business School (2005). From 1988-1992, Christian Poulsen worked in the field of industrial software and electronics with Microconsult, most recently as departmental manager. From 1992-1997, he worked for Carl Bro as divisional manager of Carl Bro Informatics A/S; from 1997-1999 he was Group IT Director of Carl Bro Gruppen A/S; and from 1999-2001, he was CEO of Carl Bro IT & Telekommunikation A/S. During the period 2001-2005, Christian Poulsen was CEO of Netman A/S, a software company owned by Hewlett-Packard which developed and exported network management systems and products to international telecoms operators. From 2005 to 2008, Christian Poulsen was CEO of HandStep A/S, a mobility specialist and IT company.
Christian Poulsen joined Copenhagen Airports A/S on 1 November 2008 as Vice President with overall responsibility for IT.  In April 2011 was Christian Poulsen responsible for Assets & Technology ie all of its technical installations, IT systems, runway facilities and buildings (Technical Director).

Kristian Durhuus
Vice President, Operations – born 1968

Kristian Durhuus holds a M.Sc. and has an extensive experience from eight years in the airport industry where he has worked for both Swissair Group as well as Lufthansa in different functions. This includes being General Manager for Aero-Chef (GateGourmet) in Billund and for LSG Lufthansa Service first in Frankfurt, then in Copenhagen and ultimately in the Nordics and Eastern Europe.
Following a couple of years as Managing Director for Rentokil Initial in Denmark, Kristian has been CEO for five years of Falck Securitas Sikring and G4S Security Services in Denmark.
At CPH Kristian is responsible for Operations including Passenger Service (PAC), Traffic (TRA), Baggage (BAG), Security (SEC), Quality Management (QRM), Environmental Department (MAF), Planning & Analysis (PLA) and Roskilde Airport (RKE)

Peter Hansen

HR Director – born 1968

Peter Hansen holds an MSc in Economics (Strategy, Organisation and Management). Peter has worked with HR for ten years in Nestlé, Alpharma and PA Consulting Group. Most recently, he was HR Director of Microsoft before joining Copenhagen Airports in June 2008. Peter holds the general responsibility for CPH’s HR activities, including recruitment of staff and development of competencies and corporate culture.

Henrik Peter Jørgensen
Vice President, Communication - born 1958

Henrik Peter Jørgensen holds an MA in History and Social Science. He began his carreer in 1988 with the Danish State Railways (DSB), Copenhagen, and was COO of Banedanmark in the period from 2004 to 2007 with responsibility for scheduling, product development, traffic information, customer contact, traffic management, IT and telecommunications.  In 2007, Henrik Peter Jørgensen joined Copenhagen Airports as Vice President and COO in charge of Staff (EJC), Passenger Relations (PSR), Security (SEC), Traffic (TRA), Baggage (BAG), Airside Support (ASP) and Roskilde (RKE). 
In 2009, Henrik Peter Jørgensen assumed responsibility for the communications area and external relations.
