NIAL Holding

CPH’s investment in Newcastle International forms part of a Public Private Partnership for the operation, management and development of the airport at Newcastle. The other shareholders are seven northern-England local authorities, whose investments in the airport are funnelled through a holding company called Newcastle Airport Local Authority Holding Company Limited.

Owners of the Newcastle Airport Local Authority Holding Company Limited are:

• Durham County Council
• Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council
• City of Newcastle Upon Tyne
• Northumberland County Council
• North Tyneside Council
• South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council, and
• City of Sunderland

Investment in the airport by CPH and the Newcastle Airport Local Authority Holding Company Limited is now held through NIAL Holdings Plc.
