Consulting agreement

When CPH invested in Newcastle International, a 15-year consulting agreement was signed, according to which Copenhagen Airport, as a strategic partner, undertakes to provide consulting services and know-how to Newcastle International within three key areas:

• Traffic handling
• Expansion of the airport, and
• Commercial activities

Through consulting services to Newcastle International, it is CPH’s ambition to:

• Consolidate the status of Newcastle International as the most important airport in northern England
• Increase the number of flight departures (scheduled, low-cost and charter) out of Newcastle
• Optimise commercial revenue
• Exploit the potential within property leasing (property development)
• Optimise the existing infrastructure, and
• Implement an investment programme with a cost level that reflects the growth in passenger numbers and developments in the field of aircraft.
