Via Copenhagen – a new airport service
Copenhagen Airport is launching a new service for passengers wishing to travel from one destination to another – via Copenhagen.
At the airport’s website – http://www.cph.dk/ – you can plan your trip with a transfer in Copenhagen and get an overview of the many destinations you can reach from here. The service is primarily aimed at international passengers, although passengers travelling from other Danish airports can also benefit from the service.
The “Via Service” meets several needs. For one thing, there is a tendency for more and more passengers to compose their trips themselves. Copenhagen Airport would like to accommodate this demand with this new travel planning service, which shows passengers the many destinations that can be reached with a transfer in Copenhagen.
Also, the Copenhagen Airport would like to help ensure that passengers who miss their connecting flight are insured. Copenhagen Airport has therefore entered into a partnership with Europæiske Travel Insurance to offer insurance against late arrival.
“Copenhagen Airport is the largest transfer airport in Scandinavia with connections to more than 130 destinations worldwide, and we wish to maintain and strengthen this position in the coming years. It is easy and convenient to transfer in Copenhagen, and with this new service even more passengers will realise the range of options available via Copenhagen,” said Corinna Lundbæk Pedersen, Department Manager at Copenhagen Airports A/S.
